IN LOVING MEMORY
Age 34
North Tower
WTC 9-11
You boarded flight 11 what seemed to be a normal day
But evil plans were in the midst of terrorist being made.
You lost your life so suddenly that dark September day.
Your family’s lives have such a void and will never be the same.
The world will never forget your brave and courageous name.
You were a remarkable rare person and you touched everyone you knew.
You lived your life to the fullest and you had many interest too.
You were known for your compassion and your kindness to so many of your friends.
You had an irrepressible optimism along with your ever-present smile.
You were extremely bright and handsome and you also had a quieter side
You believed every person has a right to dignity and happiness and opportunity in life.
Born in Beirut, Lebanon you came to the United States to attend Stanford University.
You felt extremely fortunate and with everything you had a great passion and zeal.
You worked mainly in the United States, Korea, and throughout Europe.
You were working in London on your way to Los Angeles to see your dear parents.
Your father Joseph and Samia will hold to your love so very dear,
Your sister May and brother Sany will keep your memory so close and near.
Your six nieces and your nephews will tell of their Uncle Waleed with pride and joy.
You were life's greatest gift to your sweet fiancée Nicolette
It was her honor and her privilege to be the one that you danced with in life.
You were the one who held her hand and her shoulder you rested upon.
You were the whisper in her ear you were her partner and true love.
Your strong character will be stay forever with all your family and your friends.
You are gone from their touch but live forever deep within their hearts.
