Survival

     On Saturday, July 13, 2002, we attended the Meeting for September 11 Family Members and Survivors. It was arranged by Anita Ahuja (Executive Liaison for the CA Victim Compensation and Government Board in Sacramento). I met Dr. Ken Druck who lost his daughter in 1966. He is the founder of Jenna Druck Foundation. He was one of the speakers at the meeting. He told me that the best gift I can give Waleed is SURVIVAL.

     It is either I die and my death is not what Waleed wants; or survive and keep the memory of Waleed alive amongst other positive purposes for continuing to exist.

     Meeting Ken is a turning point in my thinking about the tragedy that befell our home.
