You Have Been Taken

"Today started out as just another day, Heading to work and school to play. But something happened,and now you're gone, Taken from us and leaving us alone. Shock and heart break is all that is felt, Because someone gave us a hand that God hadn't dealt. It is hard for us to see, That someone has gone and taken you from me. Life is short enough as it may be, But for someone to do this in the "Land of the Free". My heart goes out to each and everyone, As my heart sank with the setting sun.
