A Note on the Angels
Each of the 825 angels was handcrafted for a victim of the September 11th tragedy including
the
Fire Fighters (343),
Police Officers (70),
Port Authority Officers (37),
Pentagon Workers (125)
and the crew and passengers
on the planes (246). Each angel was sent to the family of the victim for whom it was made.
